The best wedding venues in san diego
San Diego

Venue lists written from a desk all look the same. We are a San Diego photo booth team that loads in and works these rooms every wedding weekend, so here is what each one actually feels like when the floor is full.

San Diego Reviews

★★★★★
“They knew exactly where to set up at the Del so the line never crossed the dance floor. The prints of the sunset off the beach were the ones everybody kept.”
Priya and SamWedding, Hotel del Coronado

“They had worked The Prado before and had a spot picked before we even asked. The courtyard arches did half the styling for us.”

“Bayfront with the skyline behind the booth. Our guests lined up all night and the attendant never let it stall.”

We know the Rooms

We have worked most of the rooms San Diego couples marry in. Pick a venue and we will show you the spot where the booth earns its keep.

The booth spot

Near the oceanfront ballroom, where the sunset light off the sand still reaches the prints. The big guest list flows past without crowding.

Under the arches off the tiled courtyard. The Spanish-Colonial backdrop styles the photos for us and cocktail hour drifts right past it.

Along the glass with the Pacific behind it. The ocean does half the work and the line never crosses the dance floor.

Off the marble lobby near the ballroom. The indoor light stays even all night, which the formal setups love.

Facing the bay so the downtown skyline lands in every strip. It peaks at dusk, so we time the setup around the city lights.

Beachfront and Bayfront

The Del on the sand, Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla, Coasterra and Tom Ham's Lighthouse on the water, Bali Hai on Shelter Island: the view does half the styling.

Tell us your venue and we will tell you where the booth shines in it.

Historic Downtown Hotels

The US Grant in the Gaslamp keeps everything indoors and polished, with even lighting all night and a load-in that stays close to the elevators.

Formal setups love a room that photographs the same at ten as it did at six.

Balboa Park and Gardens

The Prado's courtyards, the La Jolla Woman's Club colonnade, and the Estancia La Jolla haciendas give the booth arches, greenery, and shade without leaving the city.

Character and cover in one spot, so an outdoor-leaning plan still has an answer.

How far we Go

01

San Diego proper

The city and the coast, from the Gaslamp to La Jolla to Coronado. Most of the venues in this guide sit right here.

02

Across the county

Carlsbad, Oceanside, Chula Vista, El Cajon, and everywhere between. One flat travel note, quoted in writing up front, never a surprise.

03

Beyond the county

Worth asking. For the right wedding we load the van and bring the whole setup to you.

Close means flexible: a late venue change or a rain plan is a phone call, not a crisis, because we are already in town.

FAQ

The questions San Diego couples ask before booking, answered the way we answer them on the phone.

Every quote is same-day and all-inclusive, priced by the booth you pick and the hours you need. Setup, teardown, and an attendant are always in the number, and there are no hidden fees.

Probably. The Del, The Prado, Scripps Seaside Forum, The US Grant, Coasterra, and a long list of others. If yours is new to us, we scout it before the wedding and pick the booth spot ourselves.

About a ten by ten foot footprint for the open-air and 360 booths, and the mirror needs even less, plus a standard outlet within about twenty-five feet. We coordinate the exact spot with your venue ahead of time.

Popular San Diego wedding weekends book four to eight weeks out, and spring and fall Saturdays go fastest. If your date is close, ask anyway and we will tell you straight whether it is open.

Check Your Date

We are so glad you are here. Tell us a little about the celebration you are planning, whether that is a coastal wedding, a quinceañera, or a company party, and we will be in touch within two business days.
